Accepted formats are JPG, JPEG, and PNG. Other formats are cool but we don't accept them.
2. Keep It On Topic
While we love all kinds of images, this is a place for certain pictures to shine. Cluttering the submission form with unrelated images just makes the judging process longer. Please keep your submissions within the alotted categories (see categories below).

Photos submitted for the 2024 Cloudy Sky Photo section must have the subject of a cloudy day sky. Clouds must be visible and display obvious sufficient cloud coverage, 1 or 2 small clouds will not be considered a qualifier. Photo submissions for the 2024 Cloudy Day section can contain other subjects (such as trees, grass, people, animals, aircrafts, structures, buildings, smoke, fire, balloons, etc.), but the primary subject must be a cloudy sky day. Take a cloudy day to get outside and get some pictures with family or friends. Just make sure not to let your photoshoot get rained on! |

Photos submitted for the 2024 Night Sky Photo section must have the subject of a night sky. The moon, stars, or other astral bodies do not need to be visible, but the photo must be dicernably the night sky. Photos displaying complete darkness, or unclear subjects are subject to disqualification. Photo submissions for the 2024 Night Sky section can contain other subjects (such as trees, grass, people, animals, aircrafts, structures, buildings, fire, floating lanturns, UFOs, cellphone towers, etc.), but the primary subject must be a night sky. Grab a telescope and head out with your pals for some late-night star gazing. Photos of the night sky can be difficult to take depending on equipment, but are always a true beauty to behold! |

Photos submitted for the 2024 Moon Photo section must have the subject of the moon. The moon can be in any lunar phase except for New Moon (in which the moon is not typically visible), and can otherwise contain only feature partial facets of the moon, but it must be dicernably the moon. Photo submissions for the 2024 Moon Photo section can contain other subjects (such as trees, grass, people, animals, aircrafts, structures, buildings, UFOs, the rabbit in the moon, cheese, bodies of water, reflections, etc.), but the primary subject must the moon. Earth's companion, rising as sure as the sun. No matter what lunar phase or lunar event it is in, the moon is surely a beatiful sight. Don't get too entranced though, the moon is known to take many followers! |
3. Appropriate Content Only
Help us keep this a safe, friendly enviorment for your fellow users. Images or comments containing nudity, hateful content, or illegal drugs and/or paraphernalia are not allowed under any circumstances. Such submissions are subject to removal of the content and banning of the offending user.
4. No Drawing, Edits, or AI
The usage of any drawing apparatius, editing software, artificial intelligence, or any type of ficticious image is prohbited. This is a place to explore and enjoy the natural beauty of the space and the sky we were born under. Users found submitting ficticious images will be disqualified.
